Join us on Saturday, June 8th for the 1st Annual Battle on Little Bay Food Truck Showdown 2024 in Rockport, TX at the Navigation District.


Experience the thrill as the top food trucks gather to serve up delightful dishes and culinary creations for all attendees to savor.


Food truck Showdown is a culinary event that brings together a variety of food trucks in a competitive environment in Rockport, TX. It is a gathering where food truck owners and operators showcase their unique and delicious offerings to the public and win bragging rights for the BEST FOOD TRUCK ON LITTLE BAY for 1 full year!


During this food truck showdown, attendees (you) can sample a diverse range of cuisines, from gourmet burgers and tacos to exotic international dishes and sweet treats. Each food truck often prepares and serves their signature dishes and creations, allowing attendees to savor a wide array of flavors. To sample the variety of flavors purchase a TASTY TICKET for just $6!


In a competitive spirit, food trucks may participate in various challenges or contests. These can include categories such as best dish, best presentation, most innovative menu, or people's choice award. Judges, food critics, or even attendees themselves have the opportunity to vote or rank their favorite food trucks.


Food truck showdowns are not only about tasting and enjoying delicious food but also about supporting local food vendors and encouraging culinary entrepreneurship.   • 11a-4p Food Truck Competition with the Tasty Tickets purchase
  • Only the Signature Dishes can be sampled with TASTY TICKETS

  • What is a Tasty Ticket?

    Tasty Tickets are available for purchase on site that can be redeemed from 11a-4p at the food trucks for their signature dish. Only Tasty Tickets are accepted during public voting of food trucks from 11a-4p.  Tickets will not be available for purchase after 3:30p.


    There will be Tasty Tickets available for purchase on site that can be redeemed from 11-4 pm at the food trucks for their signature dish. Tasty Tickets are $6 each and you can purchase in any quantity. 


    Tasty Tickets are only accepted at food trucks and not for drinks, beer, or wine. 


    One Tasty Ticket costs $6 and will buy one 4-ounce signature dish from any food truck.

  • What happens if I have unused Tasty Tickets?

    Tasty Tickets become invalid after 4 p.m. and no refunds are issued for unused tickets. Please note that tickets can no longer be purchased after 3:30 p.m.

  • Why are the Tasty Tickets invalid after 4p?

    During the competition (11a-4p), when you use a Tasty Ticket at a food truck, you gave that truck your vote! When the competition ends, the truck who has the most Tasty Tickets will win the People's Choice Award.

  • How do I Vote in the People's Choice Award?

    During the competition (11 a.m. - 4 p.m.), when you use a Tasty Ticket at a food truck, you gave that truck your vote! When the competition ends, the truck who has the most Tasty Tickets will win the People's Choice Award. 

  • What about drinks?

    Bottled water and soda will also be available for purchase directly from the drink trailer with cash or card from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (drinks cannot be purchased from food truck vendors). 

  • What is the Pop-Up Market?

    The Pop-Up Market are local and regional vendors of crafts and other artisanal items, like: jewelry, pottery, art, woodwork, t-shirts, prints, various other crafts.

  • How can I make purchases?

    Cash and credit cards will be accepted at the drink booths, merchandise tables, Tasty Ticket tent and at the Pop Up Market. 


    Signature Dishes are only available to purchase via Tasty Tickets during the competition from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. But during the competition, food trucks will have open sales where they will be accepting cash/credit for their full menu except the Signature Dish, which you will need a TASTY TICKET for. 

  • Does the Showdown have the right to refuse admission?

    Showdown personnel reserve the right to refuse admission or remove an individual from the event without refund in reasonable circumstances – such as the refusal of security checks or if event staff consider that your behavior may adversely affect other people’s safety or enjoyment of the event.

  • Do you offer refunds for bad weather?

    Showdown does not offer refunds due to poor weather conditions. All sales are final rain or shine.
